Affordable and Comfortable Apartment in Paris [1 week stay]

Paris is the third most popular city in the world to visit. And rightly so. Being one of the most visited cities in the world drives hotel prices through the roof and makes it hard to find cheap and affordable hotels in Paris. But thanks to the internet you are able to find reasonable priced stays on platforms like AIRBNB. So, here the wonderful stay we scored whilst staying 7 nights in picturesque Paris….

Location

Helene’s apartment is located 5 minutes away from train station M1 (yellow line) Saint Mande. The yellow line takes you to most of the tourist attractions. Train tickets Prices
1.90 EUR  One-way  into the city centre.

Further more Saint Mande boasts littles Cafes, cheese shops and even a fruit and vegetable market twice per week!

Price for 7 nights

420 EUR for 7 nights, including cleaning fees and WIFI (via AIRBNB)
In comparison most hotels sold rooms for 100 EUR per night. So we were totally thrilled!

The Apartment

Bedroom/Living Room

The room was big enough to fit a bed, couch and even a table with 4 chairs right in front of a lovely large window…
She offers a music player and loads of classical CD’s and books to chose from.

Downfall form some would be no TV

Piano Room

Yes, she also had a beautiful piano as she is a pianist, but we did not use this room at all. It was still lovely to look at though!

Bathroom

Very clean and modern furnished with a shower. Fresh towels and slippers were provided as well.

Kitchen

An adorable little and fully equipped kitchen- even offering a French coffee machine.
Helene is also a vegetarian so I loved all the spices she had for cooking as well as her juicer 🙂 So, if you want to you could cook up a storm here!

TIP: Fully equipped kitchen can save you quite some money when travelling over longer periods of time, especially in expensive cities like Paris!

Conclusion

Super comfortable bed and apartment. We felt right at home at Helen’s place and the location was just perfect thanks to the train line. We are able to see everything in Paris we wanted to see and get home to a lovely apartment to rest our feet and make sandwiches for dinner as Paris is too expensive to eat out daily!

Thank you for such a wonderful stay in Paris, Helene!
