Sculptures by the sea Bondi Beach. Sydney’s Open Air Art Gallery!

Every year at the start of November and the beginning of Australia’s spring Sydney host’s an amazing open air art exhibition right along the ocean between Tamarama and Bondi Beach. The stunning sculptures are made by diverse artists each year and it is free to go to and have a look at!

How to get to the Sculptures by the sea Bondi

Once you are in Sydney CBD you can take the 400 or 380 Bus to Bondi Beach and then walk along the coast towards Bronte Beach, where you will walk past Tamarama Beach

OR You catch the 440 bus to Bronte Beach and walk towards Bondi Beach.

About Sydney’s Sculptures by the sea Bondi

Sculptures by the sea is an outdoor exhibition hosted every year between Bondi and Tamarama Beach and was founded in 1997 in Bondi. Australian and international artis showcase their sculpture every year and you can purchase for 20 AUD/ 13.50EUR/ 14.80 USD a booklet that explains to you the sculptures and the artists behind the sculptures. These can be purchased at Tamarama or at Bondi Beach.

Watch out the masses on weekends between Bronte and Bondi Beach!

Doing the walk on a weekends results in LOADS of people walking right along with you! This is the look out from Bronte towards Tamarama Beach:

Conclusion

These were just a few of the many sculptures to see during the walk and each of them are unique and tailored to each location!
After the long walk you can enjoy the beach and eat some lunch at Bondi with amazing views 🙂
